QualiFlow is built for fair housing

We comply with the U.S. Fair Housing Act and equivalent state and local laws. The platform is designed so that no automated system recommends an approve or deny decision — humans always make the final call.

Protected classes

QualiFlow prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), familial status, disability, age, military or veteran status, source of income, or any other class protected by federal, state, or local law.

No approve/deny recommendations

The platform never tells a landlord to approve or reject a renter. Recommendations are surfaced as a Recommendation Rating out of 10 with bands such as Highly Recommended, Recommended, Potential Fit, or Review Recommended — never as qualified/disqualified or approved.

Deterministic, explainable recommendations

Compatibility comes from explicit, rule-based logic — landlord-defined flexibility and renter-disclosed financial readiness — surfaced as human-readable strengths and considerations. No black-box AI scoring. Protected-class attributes are never used as inputs.

Equal advertising

Listings on QualiFlow may not include language that excludes or discourages members of protected classes. Our team reviews flagged listings and may remove non-compliant content.

Landlord responsibilities

Landlords using QualiFlow must comply with all applicable fair housing, anti-discrimination, source-of-income, and tenant-screening laws in their jurisdiction. The Flexibility Profile lets you describe what situations you are open to considering — it does not authorize any decision that would violate these laws.

Renter rights

You have the right to be evaluated fairly and consistently. If you believe you have been discriminated against on QualiFlow, you can file a complaint with HUD at hud.gov/fairhousing or call 1-800-669-9777.

Reporting violations

To report content or conduct on QualiFlow that you believe violates fair housing law, email fairhousing@getqualiflow.com. We investigate every report and may remove listings, suspend accounts, or take other action.
